Deeply disappointed: although we reserved a table beforehand, we had to wait over 30 minutes. That is not how it works! The meal then took longer and was cold. Catastrophic taste. Billing here is the same as with the Mafia. The prices on the bill were different from those on the menu and the white wine was still warm. The waitress did not respond to our wishes at all, but rather ignored them. We were served so badly that I would not recommend anyone even go into this abysmally bad restaurant. I would even rather give Mcdonald’s 5 stars than the "restaurant".

Great service, very attentive and courteous, at the end there was even a nightcap on the house. The food was of the highest quality, fresh ingredients met partly in-house production. Only the location on a main road is not ideal. But since you cannot assign 4.5 stars and have known since school that from .5 is rounded up, there are 5 stars.

Found by chance looking on Maps for the recommended Italian restaurants near the Ponte Vecchio. Unfortunately, however, he had very little Italian, if not the enthusiasm in welcoming customers. The tablecloths were not very clean and the course (mixed appetizer costing € 30) was rather poor for two people, of little taste and with the addition of an ingradient that we had expressly NOT requested. In short, mixed appetizer not typical Italian, but rather adapted to the local clientele. Owner excessively inclined to physical contact despite the hygiene rules in force. To take care of many details especially the choice of dishes on the menu. Given my extensive experience in the restaurant business it was a very disappointing experience.

I was there again yesterday after a year, great sitting outside, pizza was delicious, which I didn't like that the Afghan waiter / pizza chef only called my wife bella and not me, also asked why he didn't say to me. Dear colleague, I as a real Italian before a woman says bella, you have to respect you first ... Especially when she is sitting with her husband.

My husband and I thought the selection of drinks was fantastic! The place really has the potential to be my next hangout. The inn is really easy to get to! The convenient transport links make a visit quickly feasible, and the wait staff is extremely friendly and very courteous every time. That makes us very happy with every visit.

Wonderful authentic Italian food at good prices. We tried the carbonara. But other dishes from other guests looked very delicious. In the sunshine you can sit outside, the traffic did not bother us personally.

Amazing dinner in Frankfurt and I was even lucky enough to meet the famous Salvatore himself! I look forward to coming here again next time I am in town.

The highlight "Seniore Salvatore" un vero Italiano bringing the spirit of the south in this "Financial" city of north. Good wine but typical touristic place with touristic old fashioned Italian dishes. Old fashioned ingredients (pizza ingredients not excellent, dough was not grown properly, you digest it within a thirsty night), old fashioned service, quite high price for the food and beverage perspective. Reasonable for the spot in Frankfurt. Italy and food culture developed in the last 30yy so please, let's develop also the quality standard.

Dine here. Speak with Salvatore and take his recommendation for what's good that day and you'll really enjoy your meal. Both the entree and wine he recommended were outstanding. The bruschetta was good. The pasta alla carbonara was... odd. It was a pleasant pasta dish but didn't really taste like a carbonara, a bit wetter than it should be and the egg cooked before it was fully incorporated into the dish.

We had made reservations beforehand, which is recommended. The pizza is really terrific. The floor definitely makes the difference here. The floor is crispy and airy and tastes great. The ingredients for the topping are also of high quality. As a starter I had snails which were also very tasty. My colleagues were also completely satisfied with the dishes they ordered. Salvatore then made the evening a real experience with his charming Italian witty manner.

Good food

It is almost a fancy Place. Linen napkins and elegant waiters. The owner, welcomes you with a handshake, how he does like dekades. The atmosphere is cozy and the presentation of the food is lovely. Lake also the taste. So, this place is still a place to go.
